KHIND opens first Rent-to-Own Experience Store in Semenyih as it celebrates its 65th anniversary
In conjunction with its 65th anniversary, KHIND has officially launched its first-ever physical Rent-to-Own (RTO) Experience Store at Lot 49, Jalan EcoHill 1/5B, Setia EcoHill, 43500 Semenyih, Selangor.
The opening event was officiated by KHIND Group Executive Chairman Mr. Cheng Ping Keat, marking the launch of the brand’s first RTO Experience Store and celebrating KHIND’s journey from a small electrical repair shop in Sekinchan in 1961 to a trusted Malaysian home solutions brand serving customers in more than 58 countries.
The new Semenyih outlet represents a key milestone for KHIND RTO, which has served nearly 30,000 Malaysian households since its introduction in 2022 through digital and roadshow-based channels. As the brand’s first permanent physical location, the Experience Store strengthens KHIND RTO’s presence beyond online platforms while supporting future expansion beyond the Klang Valley.
Built around the tagline “Senang jer, Semua Settle”, the store offers a home-like environment where customers can explore, test, and receive consultations on various appliances before completing the entire rent-to-own process in a single visit. Delivery and installation are arranged directly to customers’ homes for added convenience.
Each KHIND RTO subscription includes an all-in package featuring free nationwide delivery and installation (excluding selected islands), comprehensive insurance coverage, and the KHIND Care Plan, which covers servicing, maintenance, and repairs at no extra cost.
Available products include washer dryers, front-load washing machines, refrigerators, and air-conditioning units developed with Acson, with monthly plans starting from RM70 to make quality home appliances more accessible to Malaysian households.
