MINIX introduces Wildcat Lake-powered N304-AI mini PC for accessible local computing
MINIX has officially announced the new N304-AI mini PC to bring dedicated on-device artificial intelligence acceleration to everyday computing workflows through Intel’s latest entry-tier architecture.
The small system is powered by the Intel Core 3 Processor 304 and its underlying Wildcat Lake architecture. Through Intel AI Boost, it can output up to 15 TOPS of dedicated AI acceleration, and when combined with the Xe3 iGPU, there will be 24 TOPS ready to be used.
Running workloads entirely on-premises minimizes cross-network data latency and removes reliance on metered, token-based cloud subscription infrastructure, keeping localized files entirely within private hardware boundaries to enforce user data privacy.
Meanwhile, 16GB LPDDR5X RAM + 512GB SSD provides ample memory space, while the various output ports make it capable of lighting up 3 monitors.
Network connectivity options incorporate dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to manage segregated network routing or local storage attached arrays, paired with wireless Wi-Fi 6 antennas and a Bluetooth 5.3 module running under a pre-installed Windows 11 Pro operating system.
