Taiwan Excellence hosts Go Healthy with Taiwan Football Carnival in Shah Alam

Taiwan Excellence hosted the “Go Healthy with Taiwan” Football Carnival at Sportizza Shah Alam today to promote healthy living through community engagement and technological innovation.

The community-focused event drew more than 150 participants from local sports organizations and social associations, including Lerak FC and Women Social Futsal & Football Malaysia. Inspired by the global football season, the carnival organized nine distinct challenge stations covering shooting, dribbling, juggling, and precision kicking to test athletic skills across all age groups.

A central highlight featured a friendly futsal match between the Taiwan Excellence mascot FuBear and Malaysia’s Harimau mascot, supported by appearances from Selangor State Assemblyman Danial Al Rashid, football legend Indra Putra, and influencer Coach Dom.

Taiwan Innovation Experience Zone

Beyond the pitch, the carnival integrated a specialized exhibition area highlighting medical and wellness solutions from leading Taiwanese brands.

The event served as a localized extension of the broader “Go Healthy with Taiwan 2026” Global Proposal Campaign, which remains open for submissions until August 5.

The competition invites Malaysian businesses, academic institutions, and non-profit organizations to submit practical health-related project proposals that utilize Taiwanese technology. The top three winning entries will each receive a US$30,000 cash prize and access to collaborative opportunities with Taiwanese innovation partners to implement their community wellness solutions.
