Taiwan Smart Solutions Connect 2026 expo to showcase AI innovation in malaysia

As demand for AI adoption accelerates worldwide, Taiwan’s role in pushing the AI ecosystem continues to expand, and this time, through the Taiwan Smart Solutions Connect 2026, aims to strengthen collaboration between Taiwan and Malaysia through a focused industry platform.

Organised by the Taiwan International Trade Administration and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, and co-organised by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing, the event is scheduled to take place on May 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where more than 20 Taiwanese technology companies will gather to present AI-powered solutions through a combination of forum sessions, technology showcases, and curated one-on-one business matching engagements, creating a direct pathway for cross-border partnerships.

The event will span four major sectors – Smart Manufacturing and Industrial AI, Smart City and Sustainable Energy, Digital Transformation and Enterprise AI, as well as Smart Healthcare and Wellness – while aligning closely with Malaysia’s MyDIGITAL initiative and Industry 4.0 roadmap to support businesses in accelerating digital transformation and enhancing operational efficiency.

Alongside the showcase, an “AI-Driven Future” forum will explore practical AI applications within manufacturing environments, where rising cost pressures and evolving global supply chains are pushing companies toward automation and intelligent systems, with sessions focusing on how these technologies can be effectively deployed within Malaysia’s industrial ecosystem.

Industry leaders including Jacob Lee Chor Kok, President of FMM, and Quah Soon Kooi, Head of Sales for Industrial Automation at Delta Electronics Solutions (Malaysia), are set to share insights, as Jacob Lee will address Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP 2030) and the broader Industry 4.0 landscape while outlining key challenges and strategies for multi-site digitalisation, and Quah will present real-world case studies covering AI-driven automation, energy management, and smart production workflows to demonstrate how businesses can optimise design, production, and operational processes.

On the technology front, Taiwanese exhibitors will highlight a full-stack ecosystem from chip-level innovation to real-world applications, covering factory data analytics, digital twin technologies, AI-powered monitoring systems, and industrial PC integration for manufacturing, alongside smart city and sustainable energy solutions such as low-power displays, energy management platforms, and environmental monitoring systems that support ESG initiatives.

Enterprise-focused solutions will also be featured, including cloud platforms, multilingual AI communication tools, cybersecurity frameworks, and AI development capabilities, while healthcare innovations will spotlight smart care and rehabilitation technologies aimed at improving service delivery and patient outcomes.

Designed as a one-stop business platform, the event integrates knowledge sharing with hands-on technology exposure and targeted networking, as dedicated one-on-one business matching sessions following the forum will allow Malaysian companies to directly engage with Taiwanese solution providers and explore potential collaborations.

Registration for Taiwan Smart Solutions Connect 2026 is now open with limited slots available, and Malaysian businesses seeking to adopt smart technologies or expand their ecosystem partnerships are encouraged to secure participation early.
