Acer launches PA100 portable SSD for everyday mobility
Acer has launched the PA100 Portable SSD, that places it as a storage upgrade built for everyday digital lifestyles rather than just added capacity, addressing the shift toward external storage as a core part of daily workflows, whether that’s moving large media files between devices, managing growing personal archives, or working across mobile setups.
On performance, the PA100 uses USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity to deliver sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s and write speeds up to 430 MB/s, a noticeable step up from mechanical external drives for everyday tasks like document management, media transfers, study materials, and lighter content creation work. That responsiveness is aimed at making routine actions like moving files, backing up content, or accessing projects across devices feel smoother and more consistent.
