Exabytes Launches GROW AI Framework, Partners with Aurora Mobile to AI-Enable 1 Million Businesses by 2030
Exabytes Group has officially launched GROW AI during the GROW AI Summit 2026 at EQ Kuala Lumpur, signaling a shift from basic digital presence to enterprise AI adoption. The initiative builds on the company’s “GROW Digital” foundation, with a target to empower one million businesses across Southeast Asia with practical, scalable AI by 2030.
The launch arrives as local adoption struggles to move past the initial testing phase. Citing a 2025 study by Ecosystm, Red Hat, and the National AI Office, Exabytes noted that only 21% of 133 surveyed Malaysian SMEs have progressed beyond AI pilots, with 60% identifying a lack of in-house technical expertise as their primary roadblock.
The RASA Framework & Ecosystem
The GROW AI strategy relies on Exabytes’ RASA framework—focusing on solutions that are Reliable, Accessible, Scalable, and AI-driven. The ecosystem aggregates infrastructure, cybersecurity, workplace automation, and managed AI services to help businesses avoid fragmented, standalone AI tools.
“For the past 25 years, Exabytes has helped businesses establish the digital foundations they need to grow. GROW AI represents the next chapter of that journey, helping organisations move from being digitally present to becoming intelligently operated,” said Chan Kee Siak, Founder and CEO of Exabytes Group.
The summit gathered over 500 business leaders and featured key ecosystem partners, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Lark, Sangfor, EasyParcel, Aegis Cloud, Moka AI, and Aurora Mobile.
3-Year Enterprise AI Partnership with Aurora Mobile (GPTBots.ai)
A major milestone of the summit was the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Exabytes and NASDAQ-listed Aurora Mobile (via its enterprise platform, GPTBots.ai).
signed by Chan Kee Siak and Chris Lo (Founder & CEO of Aurora Mobile), the regional partnership will co-develop enterprise AI solutions for Southeast Asian markets.
Key MoU Deliverables:
- SME Deployment: AI-powered sales, marketing, customer service, and internal knowledge assistants.
- Enterprise & Public Sector: Private AI deployments, hybrid AI infrastructure, intelligent service desks, and workflow automation agents.
- Internal Testing Grounds: Exabytes will deploy GPTBots.ai internally across its own operations to test workflows before packaging them as repeatable frameworks for business clients.
“Enterprise AI transformation requires more than deploying a standalone chatbot. Organisations need to connect AI with their knowledge, workflows, employees and operational systems,” explained Chris Lo, Founder and CEO of Aurora Mobile. “By combining GPTBots.ai with Exabytes’ infrastructure and regional reach, we aim to help organisations progress from isolated pilots to enterprise-wide AI adoption.”
Moving Beyond the Individual Level
Addressing ROI concerns, Exabytes emphasized that businesses should avoid trying to overhaul every department simultaneously.
“The challenge is how to move AI adoption from the individual level, where it is hard to measure ROI, and elevate it to the company level with measurable financial metrics,” added Eric Foo, Deputy CEO of Exabytes Group. “Our focus is to help organisations identify where AI can create genuine value, establish the right foundation, and move beyond experimentation.”
