myFirst Malaysia launches Insta magiBox with voice-powered AI creativity for RM329
myFirst has introduced the Insta magiBox in Malaysia, a voice-powered AI creative printer designed to help children explore tech through imagination and hands-on activities. Instead of simply interacting with AI on a screen, children can describe what they have in mind and turn those ideas into printable illustrations and stories that they can colour, decorate and share.
The Insta magiBox is built around two main features: Voice-to-Image and Voice-to-Story. Children can simply speak their ideas to generate illustrations in different art styles, or develop their imagination into a connected four-scene illustrated story.
It offers six art styles, including anime drawing, cartoon drawing, line art, ink splash, pencil art, and doodle. Generated creations can then be viewed on its 2.8-inch screen before being printed using its ink-free thermal printing technology.
Rather than producing full-colour prints, the Insta magiBox prints in black and white, leaving children free to add their own colours and decorations. It is available in Aqua Blue and Blossom Pink.
Alongside the Insta magiBox, myFirst highlighted several other products aimed at helping children communicate, stay active and explore their creativity.
ViewTalkie gives the traditional walkie-talkie a video calling twist, featuring a two-inch display for children to share what they see with family and friends. It connects directly between devices without requiring an internet connection, offering voice communication over distances of up to 500 metres and video communication up to 400 metres in open areas. Seven face stickers and three voice effects add a playful touch. Meanwhile, CareSip itself is a fingerprint-controlled water bottle designed to help parents monitor their children’s drinking habits. Its lid can recognise up to 20 registered fingerprints, while opening records are logged through the myFirst Circle app. It also features temperature protection to help prevent access to drinks that are still too hot, alongside a colour indicator and app-based temperature information. Battery life is rated at up to six weeks, with USB-C charging taking approximately 1.5 hours.
Meanwhile, the Fone M2 is a 4G smartwatch designed as a starting point for children’s first connected experience. It features a 1.32-inch AMOLED display, a two-megapixel front camera, voice and video calling, GPS-based location tracking, SOS functionality, and Class Mode. A music player and pedometer are also included. Those who want a simpler alternative can look at the Watch F1, which weighs only 39g with its strap, features a 1.85-inch touchscreen, heart rate and sleep tracking, more than 100 sports modes and 10 built-in games. It also carries an IP68 water resistance rating and offers up to five days of battery life under typical use.
As for Sketch Play 4, it is a portable four-inch colour LCD sketch board weighing just 61g and measuring 8mm thick. It provides a reusable surface for drawing and writing, with one-touch erase functionality, an attached stylus and a clip-on lanyard. It comes in Space Purple, Ocean Blue, Wicked Pink, and Sunny Orange, with a one-year replacement warranty subject to applicable terms.
Lastly, Camera Play Plus is a kid-focused digital device that combines photography, video recording, music, bedtime stories, drawing and games in an enclosed, ad-free environment. Its 3.97-inch touchscreen and dual cameras let children capture photos and videos, while parental controls allow usage time limits to be configured.
