Samsung extends Tizen OS Licensing to more global partners with expanded offerings
Samsung has just unveiled a major expansion of the Samsung Tizen OS Licensing Program, strengthening its role as a leading smart TV operating system provider.

Following the launch of Tizen OS 8.0, Samsung has expanded its licensing program to include leading original design manufacturers (ODMs), marking a major milestone in the platform’s growth.
This move strengthens global demand for Samsung’s smart TV ecosystem, with new partnerships bringing Tizen OS to TVs from brands like EKO, QBELL (Ayonz), RCA (Kayve Groupo, Treasure Creek), and Axdia across Australia, Europe, North and Latin America. More brands are also expected to join in late 2025 as Samsung extends its reach into new markets.
Furthermore, the platform comes with features such as advanced content discovery, Samsung TV Plus integration, cloud gaming via Samsung Gaming Hub, and SmartThings multi-device connectivity. Partners benefit from regional marketing kits, digital content toolkits, and access to Samsung’s R&D expertise, ensuring Tizen-powered TVs stand out at retail.
Samsung is also broadening regional coverage, introducing more affordable hardware, expanding app availability, and delivering a forward-looking platform that adapts to changing consumer expectations.
