Early Hands On – Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Tab S11 Series, Galaxy Buds3 FE
Samsung’s September Unpacked event has unveiled a total of 4 new devices: The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE smartphone, the Galaxy Tab S11 series comprising of the base and Ultra models, as well as the Galaxy Buds3 FE. And we have the chance to look at them earlier this week to help you get familiar with them.
Galaxy S25 FE

So, the Galaxy S25 FE is now upon us, and it continues to bridge the gap between Samsung’s A-series and its flagship Galaxy S models, with more and more existing “A” users upgrading to “FE” models YoY. For this year’s iteration, it has a slimmer, lighter profile at 7.4mm and 190g, as well as being given the Enhanced Armor Aluminium (The same frame as the standard S25 series).

It also has a 6.4-inch display with Gorilla Glass Victus+, retaining familiar specifications but with thinner bezels. Camera hardware remains largely unchanged, with a 50MP main, 12MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto lens, while the selfie camera has been upgraded to 12MP with ProVisual Engine support.

Aside from AI-driven tools such as instant slow motion, generative editing, and audio erase, Samsung also promises 7+7 Android OS upgrades and security patches, with Android 16 and One UI 8 applied out of the box. Under the hood, the phone runs on an Exynos 2400 with improved cooling, paired with a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired and 15W Qi 2 wireless charging.

And for colors, it will be offered in Navy, Icyblue, and Jetblack colorways.
Galaxy Tab S11 Lineup

For tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 series debuts with the base 11-inch model and the Ultra 14.6-inch model, but there’s no Plus for this year. Both models are thinner and lighter, with the Ultra measuring just 5.1mm and weighing 692g, and the new S Pen has been redesigned into a hexagonal pencil-like shape, magnetically attaching to the tablet’s side rather than the back.

However, the stylus no longer supports Bluetooth LE, removing gesture-based features previously available.

Running on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, the Tab S11 Ultra carries an 11,600mAh battery while the smaller model features an 8,400mAh pack. Display updates include an anti-reflective coating exclusive to the Ultra and a simplified notch with a single ultrawide front-facing camera.

Both versions ship with One UI 8 Tablet, introducing upgraded Samsung DeX with support for extended mode and up to four virtual desktops. Available in gray and silver, the tablets will bundle a keyboard in select markets, including Malaysia, with pogo-pin connectors relocated to the back due to the thinner design.
Galaxy Buds3 FE

Lastly, the Galaxy Buds3 FE was revealed last week globally, but we finally have it here, and its design takes cues from higher-end models, keeping the transparent lid case and blade-shaped earbuds but forgoing blade lighting.

Pinch and swipe controls remain, and Samsung has added 11mm drivers and active noise cancellation up to 32dB, with customizable EQ. The earbuds ship with redesigned silicone tips for improved comfort, addressing previous complaints, and will be available in black and white.
