REGZA debuts in Europe @ IFA 2026 — showcasing new TV technologies
REGZA has made its European trade show debut at IFA 2026, marking its first dedicated showcase at a major European event as the brand expands its global presence. Here’s a look at what was showcased.
116-inch ZX Series Flagship RGB Mini LED TV
As the highlight of the booth, the REGZA 116-inch ZX Series flagship RGB Mini LED TV showcased how its advanced display hardware works with proprietary picture-processing technology. Its newly developed RGB Mini LED backlight and REGZA Engine ZRα use AI-based scene analysis and precise backlight control to enhance color purity, brightness, and color gamut.
The RGB Mini LED backlight independently controls red, green, and blue LEDs, while REGZA Engine ZRα determines the optimal RGB backlight color for each area of the screen. Plus, its Scene-Based RGB Backlight Color Optimization distinguishes reflected and self-emitted light to reproduce subjects with more accurate color, brightness, and texture, including in bright reflections.
The TV also features 108-bit fine color gradation for detailed and lifelike colors, combining advanced display hardware with REGZA’s image-processing technology to deliver greater realism on its 116-inch screen.
Flagship Mini LED Concept Model
REGZA also demonstrated Realistic Sunlit Scene Reproduction on two 85-inch flagship Mini LED concept TVs, highlighting the latest advancements in its REGZA ZR technology.
Using real-time scene analysis, REGZA Engine ZRα detects sunlight and other intense light sources before adjusting brightness and highlight contrast to retain fine details without white clipping. The technology also recreates natural glare, depth, and light distribution, resulting in more realistic outdoor scenes.
REGZA Gaming and ArtVision
On the gaming side, REGZA combines its picture and sound technologies to deliver smoother and more responsive gameplay. The showcase features the REGZA Engine ZRi, a native 144Hz refresh rate, low input lag with VRR and ALLM support, and Game Deck with AI Gaming
The REGZA ArtVision G700S also brings the brand’s picture expertise into the living space with a matte display, anti-glare and anti-reflection design, distinctive frame, and Art Mode that reproduces colors and fine details with a museum-like visual quality.
Z670S and Z570S
Rounding out the lineup, REGZA unveiled two models for global markets: the 100-inch Z670S QLED Mini LED TV and 85-inch Z570S QLED TV.
The Z670S combines QLED, Mini LED, and Full Array Local Dimming to deliver rich colors, deep contrast, and high brightness for big-screen cinema and gaming. Powered by the REGZA Engine ZRi, its AI analyses content and the viewing environment to optimise picture and sound, while front-firing speakers with Eilex PRISM technology enhance audio clarity. The TV also supports 144Hz, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos for smoother, immersive gaming.
Meanwhile, the Z570S brings a more accessible big-screen experience with QLED Color and the REGZA Engine ZRi combining QLED Color with the REGZA Engine ZRi. Mini Dimming enhances detail in both bright and dark scenes, while Native 144Hz and Game Mode Pro deliver smooth and responsive performance for sports and gaming. REGZA Power Audio completes the package with clear, powerful sound for everyday viewing.
