Hisense @ IFA 2026: New “Companion Living” vision with AI for everyday assistance

At IFA 2026, Hisense has announced its “Companion Living” vision centering on V AIOS, the next step up from its VIDAA OS, built around four core abilities: Sense, Think, Communicate, and Execute.

The system is designed to pick up on what’s happening around it, understand what you actually want, talk naturally across different devices, and then coordinate everything to get things done without you micromanaging each step. That foundation powers Hisense’s new AI Companion Suite, which focuses on three everyday areas: cooking, laundry, and air and energy management.

In the kitchen, the idea is that your fridge, oven, and other appliances can work together based on what ingredients you actually have and your personal food preferences, essentially turning a random assortment of fridge contents into a guided recipe and cooking process. Laundry gets a similar treatment, with the system recognizing different fabrics and automatically coordinating wash and dry settings so you’re not stuck guessing what cycle a delicate shirt actually needs. And in the living space, the UR9 acts as a hub for the connected home, adjusting airflow and overall home environment based on who’s around and current conditions.

Hisense is also expanding where you can control all this. The company is partnering with Amazon to bring select Hisense air conditioners to Alexa+ using Amazon’s new Smart Home AI Toolkit, meaning you’ll eventually be able to just tell Alexa+ what you want and have it handle the actual settings and navigation for you.

For this, the brand said that it will roll out in the coming months.
