redBus and Grab expand partnership in Malaysia with integrated bus and ferry booking
redBus has released natively within the Grab app in Malaysia as part of Grab’s Partner App Program, allowing users to search, compare, and book intercity bus and regional ferry tickets across Malaysia and Singapore without downloading a separate app or creating a new account.
The integration provides a seamless end-to-end booking experience within the Grab app, complete with secure GrabPay payments, GrabCoins rewards on eligible bookings, and access to over 200 transport operators, while also supporting domestic, Malaysia–Singapore cross-border, and Malaysia–Indonesia ferry travel.
To mark the launch, redBus and Grab Malaysia are offering a 50% discount on eligible redBus bookings made via the Grab app, alongside exclusive perks for GrabUnlimited subscribers and Grab Travel Pass holders during the promotional period.
That said, the redBus booking experience is accessible directly through the Grab app on iOS and Android by selecting the Bus & Ferry icon.
