MINIX launches new EU928-AI mini PC with up to 99 TOPS AI performance
MINIX’s latest mini PC offering has been announced through the release of the EU928-AI.
It’s powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285H from the Arrow Lake-H lineup, combining CPU performance, Intel Arc graphics, and dedicated AI acceleration that delivers up to 99 TOPS of AI performance to handle demanding local AI workloads while staying flexible enough for general professional use.
It is strong enough to tackle local AI inference, AI-assisted content creation, intelligent image and video processing, and AI development work. Running these workloads on-device brings the usual benefits of lower latency, better privacy, and more control over data compared to cloud-based processing.
For professional use, the system supports HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and Thunderbolt 4, with the ability to drive up to four displays simultaneously, making it suited to creative professionals, multi-screen business setups, financial analysis work, and R&D environments. It ships with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with room to expand up to 128GB of memory and add a second M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD.
Connectivity includes dual 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and Thunderbolt 4 expansion, with the dual 2.5G LAN setup aimed at faster data transfer, NAS connections, and enterprise networking needs.
Despite its compact size, the EU928-AI uses a metal chassis and vapor chamber cooling to manage heat during extended AI processing and other intensive workloads, aiming for stable performance over long sessions.
MINIX is positioning the machine across AI computing, creative production work like video editing, image processing, and 3D rendering, and business or edge computing use cases including enterprise AI nodes and secure on-premise data processing.
The MINIX EU928-AI is available now through Minix’s global sales channels.
