Epson EcoTank series refreshed with faster printing speed and smaller form factor now in Malaysia

Epson has expanded its EcoTank printer lineup in Malaysia with 8 new models aimed at home users and small businesses looking for affordable, high-volume printing.  The new range includes the L1310, L3310, L3316, L3350, L3356, and L5390, offering faster performance, improved durability, and smarter workflow features while maintaining the low running costs the EcoTank series is known for.

Specifically, the L3350, L3356, and L5390 support the Epson Smart Panel app, allowing users to set up the printer, monitor its status, scan documents, and copy directly from their smartphones. These models also support Apple AirPrint for wireless printing, while the L5390 further boosts productivity with an automatic document feeder (ADF) for handling multi-page documents.

For users who prefer a straightforward wired setup, the L1310, L3310, and L3316 continue to offer reliable USB 2.0 connectivity, making them suitable for home and office environments where stable wired printing remains the priority.

The high-capacity 65ml ink bottles allows up to 4,700 black-and-white pages or up to 7,500 color pages from a single set of ink, while refilling has been simplified with color-coded ink bottles and matching tank slots to minimize spills and incorrect installations.

Durability has been upgraded too – Every model is designed to print up to 50,000 pages under warranty and features a replaceable Maintenance Box that allows users to perform basic maintenance themselves, reducing downtime. Epson has also included a Semi-Automatic Print Adjustment system to maintain print alignment and color accuracy over extended use.

Physically, the printers have been redesigned with a cleaner integrated ink tank layout and a smaller footprint that’s up to 20% more compact than previous models. The brand has also improved the paper support and input tray to reduce paper bending and provide smoother paper feeding during larger print jobs.

And like previous EcoTank models, the new lineup uses Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which consumes less power compared to conventional laser printing technologies.

The new Epson EcoTank printers have been available in Malaysia since July and are backed by a 5-year warranty, giving users added peace of mind for long-term everyday printing.
