Cadence brings Google Gemini into its production through ChipStack AI Super Agent
Cadence has recently partnered with Google to enhance its ChipStack AI Super Agent using Gemini on Google Cloud, resulting in a scalable, cloud-native platform for next-generation chip design and verification that benefits Cadence in the long run.
The ChipStack AI Super Agent combines advanced agentic reasoning with Cadence’s existing EDA solutions to significantly improve efficiency across digital design, testbench development, verification planning, and automated debugging, enabling design teams to accelerate time to tapeout.
At the core of the system is the Mental Model technology, which facilitates sophisticated agentic reasoning. This technology allows the platform to drive Cadence EDA tools, improving both the quality and correctness of content generated by large language models (LLMs).
By leveraging Google Cloud’s secure and elastic compute infrastructure, the platform can handle the compute demands for Gemini’s LLM reasoning, the ChipStack AI Super Agent, and Cadence EDA tools. This creates a seamless, “click-to-deploy” end-to-end solution for agent-powered chip design and verification.
The ChipStack AI Super Agent is available now on the Google Cloud Marketplace.
