ZOTAC to raise the stake once more with the announcement of the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme edition and AMP edition graphics cards.

ZOTAC to raise the stake once more with the announcement of the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards. The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be available in the AMP Extreme Edition, the AMP Edition, and the Founders Edition. The cards will push the limits even higher in terms of speed and power especially the AMP Extreme Edition.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Extreme Edition ships from the factory with the base and boost clock of 1645 MHz and 1759 MHz respectively. In comparison, NVIDIA’s reference clocks are 1480 MHz (base) and 1582 MHz (boost), which means the AMP Extreme edition is around 11% faster than the reference card. On top of that, the AMP Extreme Edition also feature a slight increment in memory clock at 11.2 Gbps from the reference 11 Gbps.

The card features ZOTAC’s IceStorm triple fan cooling solution. It utilises a 16 + 2 power phase to help with general stability and overclocking.

ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP

The ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 Ti AMP Edition ships with the base and boost clock of 1569 MHz and 1683 MHz respectively, which is about 6% faster than the reference card.

The card also utilises a 16 + 2 power phase design, but it comes equipped with a double fan ZOTAC IceStorm cooling solution instead of the triple fan variant from the AMP Extreme.
