Sony Malaysia hosts the Alpha Experience 2025 — featuring the RX1R III Launch and Alpha Experience Photo Contest
Sony Malaysia has recently hosted the Alpha Experience 2025 on 20–21 September at Confetti KL, where attendees enjoyed two days of inspiring creator talks, an exclusive first look at the new RX1R III, and the Alpha Experience Photo Contest finale.
For starters, the event featured talks and sharing sessions spanning street photography to cinematic workflows, led by Sony Alpha creators such as Tavepong Pratoomwong and local rising talents. Guests also explored interactive sessions and hands-on gear zones to experience the techniques firsthand.
Another highlight of Alpha Experience 2025 was the Malaysian debut of the RX1R III, Sony’s revived premium fixed-lens compact with a high-resolution full-frame sensor and modern AF features. Guests were among the first in the country to try the camera at the product booth, testing its image quality in real conditions.
The event wrapped up with the Road to Alpha Experience Photo Contest awards, where shortlisted works turned the venue into a mini gallery. The live winner announcement drew cheers as talented photographers took home coveted Sony gear and peer recognition.
