Selangor Techsphere Summit 2026 is on at KLCC pairing local talents with international opportunities

If you’ve been wondering where Malaysian industry is headed with AI, chips, and automation, Selangor Techsphere Summit 2026 is a good place to find out, and it’s free to walk into. It’s running from 14 to 17 October at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with more than 35 conference sessions and 34 exhibitors under one roof.

The summit is hosted by the Selangor State Government with the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre, and it’s powered by Hannover Messe. The aim is to connect global tech developments with what businesses in Malaysia and across ASEAN actually need. Speakers come from Siemens Malaysia, Intel, McKinsey & Company, Kearney, Festo, and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing.

Tim Bostridge, Managing Director of Hannover Fairs Asia Pacific, said Selangor’s mix of industry, strategic location, skilled workforce, and supportive policies makes it a strong base for tech transformation. He sees a clear match between Malaysia’s industrial ambitions and Hannover Messe’s themes, from AI-powered industrial transformation to sustainable manufacturing and smart energy.

Dr Harizal, CEO of the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre, added that the goal is to make the summit a platform linking Selangor and Malaysia with ASEAN and the wider global tech ecosystem, where young people can see themselves helping to build the future.

Each day has its own theme and the topics surrounding them:
