Samsung highlights 2026 AI-powered TV technologies ahead of launch @ European Tech Seminar
Samsung recently held its 2026 European Tech Seminar in Frankfurt, Germany, giving media and industry professionals an early hands-on preview of its latest AI-powered TV, display, and audio innovations ahead of their global rollout.
The main highlight of this year’s seminar is Vision AI Companion (VAC), Samsung’s integrated AI platform designed to make TVs smarter, more intuitive, and better aware of their surroundings.
Acting as a smart assistant, VAC enables more natural interaction by showing real-time on-screen information and helping with everyday tasks such as finding recipes or planning trips, expanding the TV’s role beyond entertainment into the smart home.
Samsung’s AI TV lineup also enhances movies, sports, and gaming with real-time intelligent optimisation. AI Upscaling Pro improves lower-resolution content with sharper detail, better depth, and stronger contrast, while AI Soccer Mode Pro automatically adjusts picture and sound to match the pace of live matches.
AI Sound Controller Pro further analyses dialogue, music, and sound effects, allowing users to fine-tune elements such as commentary and crowd noise for a more immersive experience.
The brand also showcased its latest Micro RGB technology, offering precise color control, deeper contrast, and a more immersive viewing experience. Powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, the display continuously optimizes color and contrast in real time while achieving 100% BT.2020 color coverage.
A 75-inch model was also presented to demonstrate the technology’s scalability and improved local dimming performance.
Samsung’s 2026 OLED lineup, which includes the S99H, S90H, and S85H, offers more choices for different viewing needs with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and refined designs.
Leading the range, the S99H features a FloatLayer Design and Pantone Validated ArtfulColor, while Glare Free technology is now available on the S90H to minimise reflections and maintain consistent picture quality in both bright and dim settings.
Not only that, Samsung also presented its latest high-performance gaming monitors and lifestyle audio products. The gaming lineup included the Odyssey G6 OLED (G60FS) with a 500Hz refresh rate, alongside the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) featuring 6K resolution, delivering ultra-fast responsiveness and excellent visual clarity for serious gamers.
For audio, Samsung is expanding its lifestyle lineup with the Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5, combining immersive sound with designs that blend seamlessly into modern living spaces.
Music Studio 7 features a 3.1.1-channel setup with enhanced Q-Symphony for more synchronised audio across connected devices, while the more compact Music Studio 5 delivers powerful sound with AI Dynamic Bass Control for deeper, balanced bass without distortion.
