Google Pixel’s Sensor

Believe it or not, the sensor on the KEYone is actually the same as the one on the Google Pixel. Despite the Google Pixel’s camera is capable crunching out beautiful images, but mind you that both of them still have a critical difference – the software.

Camera App

The camera app on the KEYone has a simple interface and easy to use. It has most of the configurations and features just like the competitors. However, what I don’t like is that there is no quick access to launching the manual mode.

Focusing may not be as fast as those with dual pixel AF, but it is quick enough for your daily snapshots.

Image Quality

White balance proved to be a challenge for the camera’s software as it would often struggle to obtain accurate colour temperature, especially in low light situations. Nevertheless, the image quality is great with wide dynamic range and great colours.
