Most affordable LinkBuds Sony has ever released; the LinkBuds S

Sony has announced the latest addition to its LinkBuds lineup: the LinkBuds S, which is also the most afford TWS the brand has launched to date. So here is some information on what the LinkBuds S has to offer.

The LinkBuds S comes with a compact design (approximately 4.8g in weight), combined with a shape that perfectly matches the human ear to help users avoid discomfort during usage. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and are water-resistant as well thanks to the IPX4 rating, making them a good workout companion for fitness enthusiasts.

The new 5mm audio driver is able to produce strong bass and clear vocals despite its size while its integrated Processor V1 improves noise canceling and sound quality for a distraction-free listening experience. Another notable feature of the earbuds is the Adapt Sound Control which automatically adjusts volume and active noise canceling(ANC) sensitivity based on the surroundings, a feature that will come in handy in busy urban areas.

The TWS also features a Speak-to-Chat function which enables users to easily initiate Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and more while they are holding a handful of stuff in their hands.

And for the battery life, the LinkBuds S can last up to 6 hours with ANC enabled and can be stored for another 14 hours in the charging case. Sony also claims that a 5-minute quick charge is able to deliver up to 60 minutes of playback time.

Pricing and Availability

The Sony LinkBuds S comes in three colors (White, Black, and Ecru) and is expected to be available in Malaysia from June 7 onward at the price of RM929.
