Signify Malaysia Unveils 3Sekawan Smart Lighting Solution

In the effort to design sustainable lighting solutions, Signify Malaysia is introducing the 3Sekawan collection that helps to raise the public’s awareness of energy efficient lighting. In other words, adopting LED lighting systems as a greener and environmentally friendly alternative for incandescent lighting. The launch took place during MAPFest, happening at Publika, Kuala Lumpur.
What is 3Sekawan?
The collection is comprised of the Meson Surface Mount LED Downlight, UFO LED Bulb and the Stellar Bright LED T-Bulb. Sustainable features including long lifespan and energy-saving properties that, one, reducing the carbon footprint, two, lowering consumer’s electricity bill. The lightbulbs ensure a superior user experience through their belief in eye comfort philosophy.
The Meson Surface Mount LED Downlight has three temperatures ranging from warm white light, to cool daylight which is suitable for ambient lighting in spaces such as living rooms, corridors, and bedrooms. The UFO LED Bulb has an all-around reflection for a 180-degree light distribution which provides more radiance perfect for task lighting in functional spaces such as kitchens, utility rooms, and living rooms. The Stellar Bright LED T-Bulb has a sleek design and features a modular angle neck to twist and rotate to the preferred setting fit for focal lighting required in vanity rooms, walls and workspaces.
Public Awareness of Sustainable Lighting
The annual MAPFest started on 30th March and ends on 14th April is an excellent occasion for Signify to bring their product and experience to the visitors. Signify has brought along an experiential room, which focused on two key product zones that recreated a simulation of living spaces to showcase how smart energy lighting can be incorporated into daily life. The 3Sekawan Zone features a bedroom replica while the second zone highlights the Philips Hue feature and functions.
