Samsung reveals Top 10 Semi-Finalist for its Solve for Tomorrow 2025 STEM competition
Samsung Malaysia has announced the shortlisted participants from the Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition that supports the purpose-driven innovation among Malaysian youth with the power of STEM knowledge applied towards real world issues like sustainability, education, health and sport, and has attracted more than 210 students and mentors.
The top 10 semi-finalist teams are:
- Aether Care (SMK St Thomas)
- Coding Chaos (SMK Bukit Jambul)
- EduHive (SMK Tinggi Perempuan Melaka)
- EVOXIS (SAM Bestari Selangor)
- Potassium Boost (Sri KDU Selangor)
- StraightUp (Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary School Petra Jaya)
- TechFlash (MRSM Bagan Datuk)
- TechNest (SMK Desa Tun Hussein Onn)
- The C.E.S (Sabah Tshung Tsin Secondary School)
- The Interceptor’s Eye (SMJK Kwang Hua)
Before reaching the grand finale on December 6, 2025, the teams will join the Design Thinking Workshop on October 11, where they’ll present their ideas to a panel of judges and receive mentorship from Samsung Malaysia and Universiti Malaya.
The workshop aims to refine their concepts for technical feasibility, scalability, and real-world application – paving the way for the final showcase, where the most innovative solutions will be crowned.
