Today at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked global virtual event, we finally see the South Korean electronics giant unveil their worst kept secret yet – the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 5G.

World’s First Water Resistant Foldable Smartphone
There you have it, I am not expecting this but Samsung has managed to find way to water sealing a foldable device. The most challenging part of this process is handling the water sealing of the hinge component. What Samsung has done is sealing the the rest of the device using rubber seals and then uses corrosion resistant material with permanent lubricant. They even made sure to seal the ribbon cable connection which I would say that failing point when it comes to water resistant on a foldable device. We’re looking forward to experience how it pans out when we got our hands on the device.
