After finishing up the phones and tablets, let us finish up with the Samsung Galaxy Watch6 series smartwatches.

Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Series 3

First things first. Yes, the Classic is back because so many people demanded Samsung to bring them back so yeah, the Galaxy Watch6 Classic housing the big and bumped bezels are here.

They are also slightly larger than before so definitely good news for the “G-SHOCK” fans and whatnot.

Though they may not look like it but there are a lot of changes both above and under the hood.

For starters, there’s a new SoC inside, the Exynos W930 that powers the entire thing so more performance across the board and possibly new functions to come in the future.

Memory options are fixed at 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

The screen is also 20% larger for most of them but the bezels are 15% slimmer. As for the classic, the rotating bezel is 15% thinner instead.

As for the default watch strap, the push pin design is gone and instead, a push button mechanism replaces it. And if you’re wondering whether your Galaxy Watch4/Watch 5 could upgrade into them, yes you can, since the width is the same 20mm size.

Of course, there are more customization options and there are more animated watch faces too.

Also if you’re wondering where’s the “non-classic version, the right one is the one without the big bezel which is “classic” for the “non-classic”.

But what I’m curious about is the battery life as this is perhaps the most important aspect of a smartwatch.

The Galaxy Watch5 Pro caps in at about 3 days off a single full charge but unfortunately, the official response said that it will not be as long, probably at 35 hours give or take so a bit of a bummer.

But for the rest such as WearOS implementation, I’m sure they will continue their good effort in making a good smartwatch.

Samsung also talked about the Personalized Heart Rate feature that tailors a specific rating or tiering customized to each and every user so there’s not really a definitive answer on whether you’re in a “abnormal” zone or not but we’ll be taking notes on that.
