Samsung Art Store expands library with Tamara de Lempicka collection
Samsung Art Store has added 22 works by Art Deco icon Tamara de Lempicka, whose signature style is experiencing renewed attention amid a growing ‘Neo-Deco’ revival across interior design and fashion.
Known for her bold compositions, sculptural forms and refined elegance, Lempicka’s work reflects early 20th-century modernism, characterized by clean lines, strong geometry, and polished surfaces that continue to influence contemporary art, fashion, and design.
The featured collection includes some of her most recognised works, such as ‘Autoportrait’ (1929), a Paris-made self-portrait commissioned by German fashion magazine Die Dame as a celebration of women’s independence.
It also highlights ‘St. Moritz’, a precisely composed portrait that reflects Lempicka’s signature stylized aesthetic. Complementing these are a series of still-life pieces that demonstrate her range while preserving a consistent visual language.
With Lempicka’s works added, Samsung Art Store continues to expand its collection in line with evolving design trends, offering more ways to personalise living spaces with culturally relevant art.
