Samsung’s 2024 BESPOKE lineup of AI-infused home appliances aimed for less hassle and more convenience

Samsung has globally announced the new 2024 series of BESPOKE home appliances that come with a suite of new AI technology to “smart up” your lovely household.

We’ll first start with the centerpiece addition that can be found on multiple products – AI Home. This is a piece of 7-inch LCD display that acts as the central control hub for all these new appliances so there are no more wonky interfaces and interactions as Samsung is committed to making everything familiar and streamlined even between different devices.

Speaking of AI Home, it has the new 3D Map View feature that renders the household in a virtual 3D space that pops up every Samsung SmartThings compatible appliance and here, you can also remote control any of those things. For example, feeling a little too hot during cooking and want some fresh air? Turn that AC in the living room on with just a few clicks on the induction cooker’s AI Home screen.

There are also other use cases but the general idea is that each of the LCD screens will be the gateway to everything Samsung inside your home.

The Korean brand is also adding the new Mobile Smart Connect feature that turns your smartphone into the control panel of the closest appliance to the user. Definitely more useful for those who just can’t let go of their phone for even a second.

Other than that, they are also making ownership way easier through easy warranty registration and buffed security protection thanks to its Knox security platform.

And of course, how can we forget about the products themselves so I’ll just give you an easy summary of what’s new:

  • AI Floor Detect knows what type of flooring it is on top of, thus deciding whether to lift up the mop or not and among other adjustments
  • Auto mop sterilization by the dock that can also automate dust bag emptying, water tank refilling, etc
• Energy saving extra wide fridge freezer and washers
  • Rated “A” by European Energy Standards from A-10% to A-40%
• Bespoke AI Laundry Combo
  • All-in-One washer is now even better at selecting the best amount of detergent and water for maximized efficiency; the Same algorithm is used for drying in terms of weighing and fabric type as well
• Bespoke Slide-in Range with AI Home
  • Multi-function induction range with Internal Oven Camera that shows what’s happening inside, accessible by any supported SmartThings appliance and device
• Generative AI implemented into Bixby within the SmartThing ecosystem can help automate tasks through natural language
