LG introduces new flagship QNED MiniLED TVs to take the LCD technology to the next level

LG Malaysia has announced that they have brought in the latest QNED MiniLED TVs into the country that will surely bring another round of competition in the premium TV market.
The newly debuted TV models are the 8K QNED99 and 4K QNED91 that is powered by the MiniLED technology which is very literal in the sense of naming that basically, the LED bulbs were around 30,000 of them making up 2,500 local dimming zones, are made to be even smaller than the conventional ones in the market right now and combined with LED’s own set of advantages of being controlled individually to deliver brilliant colors while delicately adjusting the brightness to deliver deep blacks and bright scenes.
In order to output an unrivaled cinematic home experience, both TVs are Dolby Vision IQ and Dolby Atmos compliant that smartly adjust image settings based on the content itself and factoring in the ambient surrounding, and produces multi-dimensional surround sound without dedicated hardware. The addition of FILMMAKER MODE will disable motion smoothing while preserving original aspect ratios, colors, and frame rates in case you’re not a big fan of overly post-processed visuals. On the other hand, the 8K QNED99 also hosts several exclusive features such as the α9 Gen4 AI Processor 8K that uses deep-learning algorithms to tune contents on the fly to match for example a set of brightness output, 8K upscaling older contents for the greater viewing experience, AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro.
