This is such an adorable design that matches the dragon and egg theme.
Out of the box, the USB flash drive is in its glory – a little green dragon with a golden mohawk.
The mohawk itself is the USB Type-A flash drive.
Premium golden full-metal build of the USB drive. Goes well with the Chinese New Year Theme of Golden Prosperity.
Do take note that the golden coating will get scratched if you even plug it into a USB port. That’s rather unfortunate.
Benchmark
That is a pretty remarkable read speed that exceeds the claimed 200MB/s. Of course, you can’t expect a USB flash drive to perform the same as any external SSD. Nonetheless, it is a great performance for those who are yet to upgrade to an SSD.

Even though the Kingston Year of the Dragon 2024 edition Data Traveller is made for the collectors, however, our test has shown it is not just for the looks. The drive is fully capable of USB 3.2 Gen1 200MBps/100MBps read/write speeds. At the official retail price of RM98, this is a wonderful little gift for loved ones and even avid collectors who are aiming to complete the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs series from Kingston.
