Kingston comes out on top again as the No.1 SSD supplier last year

According to TrendForce’s latest data analytics, Kingston has once again taken the top spot as the world’s leading third-party supplier of SSDs in 2021, accounting for 26% of the total 127 million units supplied.

While production demand grew, shipment volume was impacted as wafer supply was insufficient to meet order lead time. Kingston has responded to the issue by implementing a flexible supply strategy as well as worldwide sourcing, making it far ahead of its competitors despite a global pandemic and chip scarcity.

As the demand for PCIe 4.0 NVMe gaming SSDs continues to grow, Kingston also released the KC3000 and FURY Renegade last year to help consumers who require speed and reliability to handle intensive games and application workloads both on desktops and laptops.
