The Hover Camera Passport is ultra-portable, can be easily folded and placed into a backpack or purse and then when needed, simply open up, turn on and let go. It is the perfect holiday photographer, able to capture those memorable selfies.

Hover Camera Passport

Portable and foldable

Hover Camera Passport

Hover Camera Passport is easily the most portable and easy-to-use drone on the market. The drone can be folded in half, transforming into the size of a typical book, with its carbon-fibre chassis keeping it strong and lightweight, and so can easily fit into bags or purses. Closed, the drone is 1.3 inches tall and the entire machine weighs no more than 242 grams including battery.

The chassis is made of carbon fibre, which contains the propellers in a cage, ensuring the drone is not damaged when it hits objects, and other users and pedestrians are kept safe from spinning blades – allowing users to launch the drone from their hands and pluck it out of the air when they are done. This gives users the freedom to use it almost anywhere without potentially harming others or the drone itself.

Image recognition perfect

The Hover Camera Passport shoots both still images at 13 megapixels and video in 4K and has a built-in flash. Unlike other drones, it has facial recognition software which tracks users – their faces and bodies – and follows them around automatically. Furthermore, it is able to maintain its position and avoid objects without using GPS technology.

The drone is perfect for selfies, group photos, and follow footage and is designed primarily to recognise and follow. Flying modes include Orbit and Follow, Manual control and 360 Panorama – each of which can be activated at the touch of a button and comes with video tutorials for beginners. Birds-eye allows the drone to circle around with the camera pointing inwards. Users in Manual mode can control using two virtual joysticks, a simplified layout or even tilt and steer mode whereby you steer the drone by tilting your phone.

Speed, autonomy, range

Hover Camera Passport

The top speed of the Hover Camera Passport is 17 miles per hour in manual mode and a maximum range of 65 feet. The drone is designed to stay close to the user and fly autonomously, so the user can release and forget, confident that the Hover Camera Passport will track his/her body and the camera will point in the right direction.

Hover Camera Passport is designed to bring out the best footage from a BBQ, run or summer holiday, from jumping from a cliff into the sea, walking along the Great Wall of China or skiing in the Swiss Alps, Hover Camera Passport is the ideal autonomous holiday photographer.

Users’ smartphones connect to the drone via private a WiFi network and control it through a downloadable app available on the App Store.

Hover Camera Passport is available for all Malaysian residents via www.gadgetgoodsasia.com at a special pre-order discount of 20%, at RM1,599.
