Hisense brings giant 30m LED screen and latest smart home tech to Dataran Merdeka for FIFA World Cup final
As the FIFA World Cup Final draws closer, football fans in Kuala Lumpur will have another reason to head to Dataran Merdeka this weekend, because Hisense has partnered with RTM as one of the strategic partners for Fiesta Piala Dunia x Uniti Merdeka 2026, and they are putting up a record-breaking 30-meter LED screen for the final match viewing experience.

Taking place from 17 to 19 July 2026, alongside the live screening of the FIFA World Cup Final, visitors can explore various booths, participate in games and activities, and enjoy entertainment throughout the event. And of course, Hisense will be bringing some of its products over there to host a booth, essentially giving all visitors a look at some of its latest consumer electronics and home appliances. Among the products on display are the company’s Mini-LED ULED TV, MicroLED VIDAA TV, Three Drum Washing Machine, and 4-Door Inverter Refrigerator, alongside other smart home products.
A lucky draw will also be there, with the grand giveaway including 9 units of the Hisense Q6Q Series 55-inch VIDAA QLED TV.
The event also continues Hisense’s long-running association with football on the global stage. The company is serving as an Official Partner of the FIFA World Cup for the third consecutive tournament, following its sponsorships of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
Through the partnership, Hisense says it aims to combine major sporting moments with its latest display and home technology to enhance how fans enjoy the game.
