Dyson has showcased a new Augmented Reality (AR) tool that, when combined with the Dyson CleanTrace and Dyson Gen5detect vacuum, ensures no spot is missed during vacuuming and improves users’ cleaning experience.
Leveraging the systematic cleaning method of the Dyson 360 Vis Nav robotic vacuum cleaner, the CleanTrace empowers users to clean with greater efficiency, thanks to the real-time AR visualizations of cleaned areas and missed spots. This innovative solution solves the common question of whether particular areas have been cleaned sufficiently and removes the need for guesswork.
Furthermore, by utilizing LiDAR technology from users’ phones, CleanTrace can map the room and overlay cleaning pathways using AR, indicating cleaned areas and overlooked spots. After completing the cleaning, users can scan the room with their phones to see if any areas are missed.
