Dyson’s all-new Airstrait hair straigtener is now available in Malaysia @ RM2,599

Dyson has revealed that its latest Airstrait straightener that offers wet-to-dry straightening using air and is engineered to cater to various hair types, allowing users to achieve a natural straight style with body and movement while maintaining the strength and healthy appearance of their hair.

The Dyson Airstrait straightener utilizes two 1.5mm apertures along its arms, where airflow is channeled to create dual high-velocity downward streams of air. These streams converge at a 45° angle, forming a concentrated jet of air that applies controlled downward pressure to straighten hair during drying.

The styler is also powered by a Hyperdymium motor that features a compact and lightweight design while capable of generating enough airflow to dry and straighten wet hair simultaneously. Packing a 13-blade impeller spinning with up to 106,000rpm, the styler propels over 11.9 liters of air per second and produces up to 3.5kPa of air pressure.

Similar to other products in the Dyson hair care lineup, the Airstrait straightener boasts intelligent heat control technology. Utilizing glass bead thermistors, it monitors the airflow temperature up to 16 times per second, safeguarding against heat damage and preserving the hair’s natural shine. This real-time temperature data is transmitted to the microprocessor, which precisely regulates the heating element to ensure that the airflow remains within the necessary temperature range.

Not only that, the straightener includes three styling modes Wet, Dry, and Cool that provide users with temperature options as well as airflow control to style their hair.
