With the brand’s steady release of iconic series and brand-new innovations from EOS R System mirrorless cameras and RF lenses to its Cinema EOS line, they are ready to build closer ties with industry professionals, encourage knowledge-sharing across the creative community, and demonstrate how its technology can support storytelling across a range of genres and formats.

As for the new directors, Quek Shio Chuan has built his reputation on a distinctive, cinematic visual style, known for crafting narratives that connect with audiences across both commercial and creative projects, backed by a strong command of visual technique. Meanwhile, Razaisyam Rashid brings a different strength to the group, recognized for his versatility across formats and his knack for bringing authentic stories to life, work that has earned him standing within the industry.

Head of Image Communication Business Division, Edward Chang, stated the company sees technology as a way to empower creativity and connect people through stories, framing the additions as part of Canon’s commitment, guided by its Kyosei philosophy, to supporting the filmmaking community and growing the professional video segment.
