Sony announces the enhanced REON POCKET PRO smart wearable thermo-device
Sony has just introduced its upgraded REON POCKET PRO, a neck-worn thermo device that delivers direct cooling or heating to the body at the point of contact.
To begin with, the new REON POCKET PRO introduces dual independent thermo-modules that significantly improve cooling performance and comfort. Featuring a redesigned fan, it provides double airflow and enhances heat dissipation. Plus, it offers twice the cooling area, twice the heat absorption, and up to twice the battery life compared to its predecessor.
Furthermore, the updated AUTO START/STOP function now more accurately detects motion and contact, automatically adjusting cooling or heating. Enhanced by multiple sensors and a smart algorithm, the improved SMART COOL mode adapts to the user’s body and environment, delivering powerful, responsive cooling for up to 15 hours.
Design-wise, the REON POCKET PRO is equipped with an improved, more flexible neckband with a silicone tip for enhanced comfort and fit. Side control buttons also allow users to switch modes and adjust settings without a smartphone, while the sleek light gray design chassis blends well with any outfit.
Pricing and Availability
The new Sony REON POCKET PRO is set to launch in Malaysia starting July 2025, at a price of RM1,199.
