Senheng teams up with Progressture Solar to bring solar and battery energy storage systems to East Malaysia
Senheng has teamed with Progressture Solar to bring residential solar and battery energy storage systems to East Malaysia, now available through 20 Senheng and senQ outlets across Sabah and Sarawak.
Senheng and Progressture Solar have launched tailored solar and battery energy storage (BESS) packages for East Malaysian homeowners, offering solar-only, BESS-only, and hybrid options designed for regional policies and energy needs.
Installed by Progressture Solar, these systems start from RM24,500, with flexible 0% instalment plans of up to 60 months, 10% S-Coin Cashback, insurance coverage up to RM30,000, and free standard installation. As a launch promotion, the first 30 customers will receive 30% S-Coin Cashback and a complimentary Viomi Water Purifier Nano worth RM2,799 from now until 31 October 2025.
The rollout coincides with growing renewable support in East Malaysia — including Sarawak’s upcoming NEM subsidy of up to RM12,000 for residential solar installations starting 2026, and Sabah’s SELCO scheme enabling solar self-consumption with BESS for blackout resilience.
Supporting Malaysia’s goal of a 40% renewable energy mix by 2035 and net-zero emissions by 2050, the partnership empowers Sabah and Sarawak households to join the nation’s clean energy transition with accessible, future-ready solar solutions.
