Ever since 2004, Samsung has supplied over 200,000 Hospitality TVs and Smart Signage displays across 28 ships in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, including more than 6,000 for Icon of the Seas, which launched in 2024. The Samsung Crystal UHD Hospitality TVs (HBU8000 model) are installed in guest cabins on Star of the Seas, delivering vivid 4K UHD picture quality with Dynamic Crystal Color technology, which produces over a billion colors.

Beyond entertainment, each TV functions as an information hub, providing personalized welcome messages, daily schedules, destination details, weather updates, emergency alerts, and on-demand access to onboard programs and announcements.

Expanding its leadership in cruise and hospitality displays, the brand has also unveiled the HF8000F — a 24-inch hospitality TV designed for compact spaces like crew cabins, hospitals, and hotel rooms. Meeting the growing demand for smaller screens, it offers a streamlined form factor while retaining key features from Samsung’s 2025 lineup, including Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, LYNK Cloud, Samsung Knox, Samsung TV Plus, and Smart Hub.
