Samsung’s new Sound Tower ST50F/ST40F powers both sound and lights; Launching in October for Malaysia

At IFA 2025 Berlin, one of the new products announced by Samsung is the Sound Tower party speakers, coming in two SKUs of ST50F and ST40F.

The Sound Tower ST50F packs up to 240W of audio power, while the ST40F delivers 160W, both enhanced by Samsung’s Waveguide technology that ensures treble and bass reach across the room. Each model comes with dual woofers and dome tweeters, plus selectable sound modes ranging from Deep Bass to Stadium, so you can fine-tune the audio to your taste.

Battery life is pretty cool too, with up to 18 hours of playtime on the ST50F and 12 hours on the ST40F, alongside IPX4 water resistance for outdoor reliability.

Lighting is where things get extra fun, as the Party Lights + system reacts in real time to the music, with LEDs that pulse, flare, and flow across five different speaker zones for a 360-degree effect. Pair that with DJ Booth and Karaoke modes, or even plug in a guitar, and the Sound Tower can double as a full entertainment hub.

Samsung also made portability a priority: the ST50F includes a telescopic handle and wheels, while the smaller ST40F has an integrated grip for easy transport.
