Samsung’s Galaxy S26 could debut a smart anti-peeping display
Following an official teaser plus some existing leaks, it seems like Samsung is ready to push out an “anti-peeping” feature, possibly debuting in the upcoming Galaxy S26 series smartphones.
According to user IceUniverse, the privacy control suite will be more flexible than ever, such as allowing specific parts of the screen to be covered, and it could be interesting to see how Samsung integrates this – will there be a software-controlled polarizer layer that selectively limits viewing angles where needed, or will there be actual new hardware within the smartphone to achieve this?
On top of that, reports are also pointing to the Galaxy S26 series getting a 10-bit display panel, which should translate into better color depth and wider color gamut coverage overall. Put all of this together, and the S26 lineup is shaping up to be pretty exciting already, especially if Samsung can nail both privacy and display quality at the same time.
