Samsung’s next-gen kitchen appliances will come with new AI Vision powered by Google Gemini

Samsung is heading into CES 2026 with more AI smartness down the line, as it prepares its latest lineup of kitchen appliances, including updated Bespoke AI refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and over-the-range microwaves, while also spotlighting how vision-based AI enhanced by Google Gemini and Google Cloud is changing the way people interact with their kitchens.

To start, the upcoming Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub is set to be the first refrigerator to integrate Google Gemini, expanding beyond the current limits of recognizing only certain fresh and pre-registered processed foods. The new version is designed to identify more food items automatically, including processed foods without manual registration, while even allowing users to label items stored in personal containers. With more accurate ingredient recognition, managing food inventories becomes clearer and less tedious, hinting at a future where the fridge actively supports daily meal planning rather than just storing groceries.

Wine enthusiasts can take a look at the new Bespoke AI Wine Cellar that utilizes a top-mounted camera to recognize wine labels as bottles are stored or removed. This information syncs with the SmartThings AI Wine Manager, letting users see exactly where each bottle is placed, look up wine details, and even get pairing suggestions based on what’s already in the cellar.

Meanwhile, they also touched up various offerings such as a new cohesive stainless-look aesthetic across French Door refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and OTR microwaves, aimed at creating a more unified kitchen setup. The latest Bespoke AI 3-Door French Door refrigerator brings a zero-clearance fit with slimmer door depth, making it easier to access drawers even in tighter spaces, while the AutoView transparent door lets users check contents without opening the fridge.

On the cooking side, the refreshed slide-in range adopts a cleaner stainless finish, a new bar handle, and a Precision Knob designed with safety in mind. Samsung is also rolling out two new OTR microwave options, including an Air-Fry model and a redesigned DualVent version, with the latter tackling a long-standing issue by adding a front ventilation wing to better capture smoke from front burners, improving performance over previous designs.
