Midea marks nationwide milestone with simultaneous launch of 18 brand stores in Malaysia
Midea Malaysia set a new benchmark in the local appliance industry with a coordinated rollout of 18 brand stores across the country, a move that earned the company official recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records for the “Most Electrical Appliance Outlets Launching In An Event.”

The nationwide push spans 15 brand stores, 2 Midea Pro Shops, and a refreshed Kuala Lumpur showroom, reflecting the brand’s accelerated expansion strategy in Malaysia’s increasingly competitive home appliance sector.

The company staged a live broadcast countdown where all outlets revealed their new signboards at the same moment, reinforcing the unified branding effort behind Midea’s expanded retail footprint. Store owners were briefly introduced on-screen before the presentation shifted to the debut of the new SMART MASTER series, culminating in plaque and certificate presentations to mark the record-setting achievement.
Central to the launch was the introduction of the SMART MASTER lineup, a collection of AI-driven appliances designed to sense and adapt to user behaviour through smart sensors and real-time intelligence. This include the Avigator series, Insta-Fit Master series, Laundry Suite, RFID-enabled cooker hoods and gas hobs, the V12 robotic vacuum and a new bladeless fan.

All these devices integrate with the Midea SmartHome app, enabling automation, remote management, and coordinated energy efficiency across multiple appliances.
To mark the nationwide debut, Midea is offering a wave of December promotions. Customers who purchase selected products this month will receive special gifts while stocks last. Shoppers who spend RM288 or more at participating stores from December 3 to 10 will get a Spin & Win opportunity, while those spending RM488 and above from December 3 to 31 will qualify for the Spend & Win contest.
