LG Malaysia launches the PuriCare AeroCatTower that takes care of your cat and the air in your home together
LG Malaysia has introduced the “air purifier x cat bed” innovative combination via the new PuriCare AeroCatTower air purifier.
As the local market’s first-ever product to be designed specifically for homes with cats, it essentially solves two problems at once – keeping the air clean and making cats more comfortable in general.
While the device will most likely sit in a corner, its 4-in-1 feature makes it super useful, such as the heated dome seat on top that doubles as a cozy resting spot. It comes with 2 heat settings of 34°C for kittens and 39°C for adult cats, as well as 2 modes of Warmth Sensing mode that adjusts the temperature when a cat sits on it, and a Consistent Warm Mode for steady heat.
The physical design is also tailored for safety and comfort, with a dome-shaped seat that has a lower front and higher back so cats can feel secure while still observing their surroundings, support for cats up to 15kg, quiet operation that automatically becomes even quieter when a cat is resting on the unit, hidden controls to prevent accidental touches, and a stable step platform that helps senior cats or short-legged breeds climb up more easily.
Beyond comfort, LG really wants to drive the idea of care into its product, so the AeroCatTower comes with a built-in scale and weight monitoring system that connects to the LG ThinQ app, allowing users to track their cat’s wellbeing over time and control the purifier remotely.
On the air purification side, the device uses a 360-degree airflow system with a multi-filtration HEPA filter that reduces up to 99% of pet dander and odour-causing particles, UVnano technology that eliminates 99.99% of harmful bacteria and viruses on the fan blades, and an easy-change pre-filter that captures larger particles like pet hair and dust and can be cleaned or replaced with minimal effort.
