LG to debut CLOiD home robot at CES 2026 for bringing zero labor home towards commercial availability

One of the more interesting things LG is going to show off at CES 2026 next month will be its brand-new home robot called LG CLOiD.

Designed to make home life a lot less hassling, CLOiD will be the home assistant designed to handle a wide range of indoor household tasks, with the idea being that it quietly takes care of daily chores while you focus on things that actually matter, like family time or just relaxing at home.

It comes equipped with 2 two articulated arms, each powered by motors offering 7 degrees of freedom. Combined with five individually actuated fingers on each hand, the robot can handle delicate, precise movements that require fine motor control, making it capable of more than just basic, pre-programmed actions.

Meanwhile, the silicon brain is powered through an integrated chipset that supports the display, speaker, camera, and a suite of sensors that allow it to be interacted with through natural voice conversations, and navigate intelligently around the home. It’s all driven by LG’s Affectionate Intelligence technology, which enables the robot to sense its surroundings, interact in a more human-friendly way, and gradually refine its responses over time to deliver more personalized support.

As the latest product that came into fruition after LG’s commitment to setting up a dedicated HS Robotics Lab within its Home Appliance Solution Company to secure differentiated technologies and strengthen its core robotics capabilities, they are also part of the movement in joint research and partnerships with robotics firms in Korea and internationally.

If you’re heading to CES 2026, LG says you’ll be able to see CLOiD in action at its booth (#15004).
