Kingston now offers its NV3 NVMe drive in 2230 form factor
Kingston Technology has introduced a new variant of its NV3 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD in the compact M.2 2230 form factor, targeting users of space-constrained devices such as handheld gaming consoles and slim laptops. The move extends the NV3 series beyond the existing 2280 model, reflecting growing demand for smaller, power-efficient SSD upgrades.
The NV3 2230 features a single-sided 22x30mm design and supports capacities of up to 2TB. It is powered by a Gen 4×4 NVMe controller and delivers sequential read and write speeds of up to 6,000MB/s and 5,000MB/s respectively.
The drive is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities and includes a 1-year license for Acronis True Image for Kingston, along with access to the Kingston SSD Manager software for easy drive health monitoring, managing firmware updates, and securely erasing data.
