Kingston adds new FURY Renegade G5 PCIe 5.0 SSD for power users
Kingston Technology has expanded its high-performance FURY lineup with the launch of the Renegade G5, a PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 SSD designed to meet the demands of gamers, content creators, and workstation users.
The Kingston FURY Renegade G5 delivers sequential read/write speeds of up to 14,800MB/s and 14,000MB/s, along with more than 2 million IOPS, leveraging the bandwidth of PCIe Gen5 x4 and high-endurance 3D TLC NAND.
Powered by a 6nm Silicon Motion SM2508 controller together with low-power DDR4 DRAM cache, it enables high throughput with improved thermal efficiency and lower power draw, making it possible for portable devices too.
Its strong performance makes it ideal for storing modern AAA gaming, 4K/8K editing, and other intensive workflows, while the capacities range from 1TB to 4GB.
As usual, the Renegade G5 is backed by a five-year limited warranty and Kingston’s well-known support network.
