Innodisk unveils new Edge AI strategy to strengthen its role as the “Keystone” of global AI deployment
Innodisk Group has announced a major strategic shift with the introduction of its new Edge AI strategy and brand positioning that turns it from a data-centric company into a global AI-driven integrator. With nearly 20 years of industrial experience, the company is positioning itself as the “Keystone” connecting global AI ecosystems to real-world applications.
The strategy focuses on bridging AI technologies from partners such as Intel, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Axelera AI, turning advanced architectures into deployable Edge AI solutions for Industry AI and Enterprise AI markets. Working with ecosystem collaborators like Kenmec and Data Systems, Innodisk aims to accelerate AI deployment across manufacturing, automation, healthcare, and enterprise sectors.
As AI adoption continues to accelerate, Innodisk is emphasizing the transition from cloud-based systems to Edge AI, where intelligence is processed closer to where data is generated. This shift underpins two primary focus areas:
- Industry AI, which powers smart factories, healthcare, retail, and transportation with real-time recognition, predictive maintenance, and intelligent workflows.
- Enterprise AI, which supports secure, on-premise decision-making for data centers and large AI models such as LLMs and VLMs across corporate, medical, and public sectors.
Two decades of evolution
Founded in 2005, Innodisk began as a supplier of industrial memory and storage solutions. Over the years, it has evolved into a full-fledged Edge AI pioneer, driven by investments in software, firmware, and ecosystem collaboration.

Three strategic pillars for Edge AI growth
Innodisk’s roadmap is built upon three pillars:
- From Components to Edge AI Systems – The company now offers scalable Edge AI architecture, expanding beyond hardware to include embedded camera modules, NVIDIA MGX Edge AI servers, and APEX Edge AI computing systems.
- Software-Driven Hardware Innovation – More than half of Innodisk’s R&D efforts are focused on software and firmware, enabling cross-platform integration, high customization, and faster adaptation to deployment environments.
- Heterogeneous Integration – Collaborations with global leaders such as Intel, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Axelera AI, as well as specialists like Kenmec and Data Systems, reinforce an open ecosystem spanning AI computing, machine vision, and software services.
AI Beyond the Edge Forum
Innodisk will further showcase its progress at the “AI Beyond the Edge” Forum on October 22, where it will present real-world AI applications such as inspection robots, contraband detection systems, enterprise AI assistants, and solutions designed for the NVIDIA Jetson Thor humanoid platform.
