Enjoy Your Favorite Articles on Kobo: Instapaper Integration Arrives
Bad news for Pocket fans, but great news for Kobo readers! Rakuten Kobo has just launched a new partnership with Instapaper, a popular service that lets you save web articles to read later. Now you can get those interesting long-form articles off your phone or computer screen and onto your Kobo eReader for a much better, distraction-free reading experience.
Rakuten Kobo CEO Michael Tamblyn explained that the company quickly sought a new solution after Pocket’s sudden exit. “We’re thrilled to offer this integration so readers can keep enjoying their preferred long-form content, distraction-free, on their Kobo eReader,” he said.
With this new feature, all you have to do is save an article to your Instapaper account, and it will automatically sync to your Kobo device, where it will look and feel just like an e-book. The Instapaper team is just as excited, with CEO Brian Donohue noting that even they’ve found Kobo to be a fantastic new way to read their saved articles.
