Dyson showcases its thinnest vacuum yet — the 38mm Dyson PencilVac

Dyson has introduced its brand-new, slimmest vacuum yet: the Dyson PencilVac, boasting a sleek 38mm profile, a lightweight 1.8kg build, and the brand’s first conical brush bar cleaner head, designed to effectively remove even long strands of hair.

Thanks to its ultra-slim design, the Dyson PencilVac is capable of easily sliding into tight spaces, lying flat to reach under low furniture, and cleaning right up to edges, even in reverse or sideways.

Driving this ultra-slim vacuum is Dyson’s most compact and fastest motor yet, the 28 mm-wide Hyperdymium 140k, which spins at up to 140,000 RPM and delivers 55AW of suction. Paired with the four new FluffyCones cleaner heads, it automatically detangles and ejects long hair as users clean, which eliminates the hassle of cutting or pulling hair from brush bars.

Furthermore, the PencilVac is the brand’s first cordless vacuum to support the MyDyson app, enabling users to personalize settings, get maintenance notifications, and access step-by-step care guides. An onboard LCD screen also displays the selected power mode and remaining run time for added convenience during cleaning.
