With the theme “AI Next,” this year’s event positioned Taiwan as a strategic hub in the international tech landscape while facilitating significant cross-border business engagement.

AI-driven transformation takes center stage

Reflecting Gartner’s Top 10 Strategic Technology Trends for 2025, COMPUTEX concentrated on Autonomous AI, Humanoid Robots, and Advanced Computing. The show’s three focus areas—AI & Robotics, Next-Gen Tech, and Future Mobility—illustrated how AI is no longer theoretical but increasingly integrated into real-world applications.

Exhibitors such as Pegatron demonstrated advances in human-machine interaction with interactive biomimetic robots and immersive VR systems, while BenQ showcased an AI-powered golf simulator leveraging real-time motion tracking and visual analytics. Advantech and Solomon contributed to Taiwan’s leadership in intelligent manufacturing, displaying autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robotic arms, and AIoT solutions.

Smart mobility innovations highlight cross-sector integration

The TADA-curated Smart Mobility Pavilion brought together 19 companies, including Pegatron, OToBrite, and Vitalcore Technology, to present the latest developments in electric and intelligent vehicle platforms. The showcase aligned with broader efforts to integrate mobility tech with AI and IoT for next-generation transportation systems.

InnoVEX marks a decade of global startup growth

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, InnoVEX expanded 12.5% year-over-year, featuring 450 startups from 24 countries. Thailand and the Philippines introduced national pavilions for the first time, signaling Southeast Asia’s rising prominence in the global innovation landscape.

The InnoVEX Forum drew speakers from AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm to discuss AI’s role in digital transformation, while Taiwan’s DeepRad.AI won the Pitch Contest for its AI-based medical imaging solution, recognized for its practical health impact and innovation.

Keynotes reinforce Taiwan’s strategic role in AI supply chains

Industry leaders took the COMPUTEX Keynote stage, including NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang, Qualcomm’s Cristiano Amon, Foxconn’s Young Liu, MediaTek’s Rick Tsai, and NXP’s Jens Hinrichsen. Taiwan featured prominently throughout their remarks, reflecting its entrenched role in semiconductor manufacturing, system integration, and global supply logistics.

The COMPUTEX Forum, themed “AI in Action,” gathered 13 executives from companies such as Google DeepMind, Arm, Intel, Adobe, and Schneider Electric, attracting over 1,300 attendees to explore AI adoption strategies and market evolution.

Sustainability and lifestyle converge on the exhibition floor

This year’s Sustainable Design Award recognized Pegatron with Gold, ASUS with Silver, and Lite-On with Bronze, highlighting industry efforts toward environmentally responsible innovation. Meanwhile, lifestyle-brand collaborations returned as plain-me and Kuai Kuai launched new co-branded merchandise, and the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation partnered with GQ Taiwan to present a design-focused hospitality lounge, reflecting COMPUTEX’s commercial and cultural reach.

COMPUTEX 2026 set for larger footprint

Due to high exhibitor demand, COMPUTEX 2026 will expand beyond Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 to include TWTC Hall 1. Scheduled for June 2–5, the next edition aims to deliver a comprehensive AI-powered tech lifestyle experience, continuing COMPUTEX’s momentum as a global platform for emerging technologies.
